Warranty: Clocks purchased from our webshop include a 2-year warranty. The warranty applies only to proper use of the product and does not cover damages caused by improper handling or external factors.
The warranty covers faults in the clock movement or clear material defects and is valid only with a proof of purchase (invoice).

Battery type: 1.5 V AA (R6) pencil battery – not included.

Setting the Time

The clock is shipped with the hands positioned at 12:00 (default position). After inserting the battery, you only need to set the correct time.
During shipping, the hands may shift slightly, so please follow the steps below to ensure accurate and flawless operation.

  1. Align all hands precisely to the 12:00 position.
  2. Ensure the hands are parallel to the dial surface so they do not touch each other or scrape against the clock face while operating.
  3. Insert the AA battery into the compartment at the back of the clock, making sure to follow the correct polarity.
  4. Do not adjust the time by manually moving the hands, as this may damage the clock mechanism. Instead, use the adjustment wheel (marked with a clock symbol) on the back of the movement to set the time.

How to Make Your Candle Burn Beautifully

  1. Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to 5 mm to ensure a steady, clean flame.
  2. Keep the candle upright when lighting it. Using a long match is recommended.
  3. After lighting, allow the candle to burn for at least 3 hours so that a full wax pool forms around the wick. If this step is skipped, tunneling may occur (a narrow hole forms around the wick), and on the next burn, the candle will “remember” this, melting only close to the wick and burning down faster.
  4. To ensure a long, even burn, place the candle on a flat surface and keep it away from drafts, so the flame doesn’t flicker. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the surface.
  5. When extinguishing the candle, use a candle snuffer if possible (these are sometimes available at IKEA or other homeware stores).

Candle Safety & Compliance

  • Keep candles at least 10 cm (4 inches) apart from each other.
  • Keep the wax pool clean and free of debris, such as used matches or trimmings.
  • Trim the wick to 5 mm (0.2 inches) before lighting.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Remove any decorative beads from the wick before lighting the candle.
  • Always use a heat-resistant candle holder.
  • Do not blow out the flame; use a candle snuffer instead.
  • Do not light the candle in a drafty area.
  • Keep away from direct heat sources (radiators, stoves, etc.).
  • Ensure candles are far from any flammable materials.
  • Trim any outer wax edges if they become taller than 1 cm (0.4 inches).
